Risk register

Inherent risk, controls, residual risk, decision, owner.

The register includes a rarely present but decisive column: the acceptance decision, with the accepting body and the review date. A tab computes the movement rate between campaigns, the most reliable health indicator.

How to use it

  • Limit the number of risks: 80 to 120 for a mid-sized entity
  • Justify in writing any risk whose score has not moved
  • Link every real loss to a register row
