Crisis communication plan

The plan sets the audience order — affected people, employees, clients, regulators, partners, press — the channels usable when normal systems are down, and the table cross-referencing regulatory obligations, deadlines and recipients.

How to use it

  • Inform employees before the press, never the reverse
  • Provide a fallback channel independent of the information system
